Review from Coach Ricky "Dep" Evans

 
Ledetriha “Dede” Shep (aka Dede Hopper) is a natural born leader who works hard at whatever she does and always finds a way to come out top! She has a great spirit and her energy is contagious to anyone she’s around! Dede is not only a great athlete but she’s a even better person. I knew the day she stepped onto North Caddo’s campus as a freshman that the days of “losing” were finally over! 

Dede Shep grew up in a small town in north Louisiana with a population of about 3,000 people.

 I was the school resource officer at the local high school and I also served as the girls basketball coach. The year prior to Dede’s arrival we only won 5 basketball games the entire year. By the time she graduated we were State Champions! 

Dede’s spirit, drive, determination and will to succeed showed the school and community what’s possible if you’re willing to keep God first, work hard and believe in yourself! Dede set N. Caddo on a path that would lead to 4 State Titles in 5 years. 

She is the Best!
